About these terms

These terms apply to purchases and services from Cape Consulting & Companies LLC (CAPE) through www.thecapeconsulting.com. Contact us at david@thecapeconsulting.com. Our registered business address is c/o Harvard Business Services, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States.

What you buy

SEEDS are prepaid work credits for CAPE’s professional Shopify services. 1 SEED represents US $1 of work credit, including bonus SEEDS. A package is a credit balance, not a subscription, fixed number of hours or a promise to complete an unspecified task. Prices are shown in US dollars; any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Packages and bonuses

The package page and checkout show the amount payable and total credits included. The 350-SEED new client test pack is a one-time offer, limited to one purchase per new client and subject to availability. Advertised bonus credits can be spent on CAPE services but have no cash refund value. For investments of US $10,000 or more, contact us for a personal offer.

Every task is agreed first

Tell us what you need and provide the relevant details. We confirm scope, SEED cost and timing in a quote. No task starts without your approval. Changes to scope or cost require your approval. Third-party app fees, subscriptions, licences and other external costs are included only when expressly stated in your quote.

Working together

Provide accurate information, timely feedback and the access and materials needed for your approved task. Only provide material and access you are authorised to share. Use Shopify collaborator access or another agreed secure method rather than sharing passwords in email or chat. Delays in access, decisions or third-party services can affect the agreed timeline; we will discuss any impact with you.

Delivery and review

We deliver the agreed work digitally and give you the opportunity to review it against the approved scope. Let us know if something does not match the agreed task so we can resolve it. Example prices and times vary from store to store. Conversion and sales outcomes depend on factors beyond an individual task and are not guaranteed.

Cancellation and refunds

Unused purchased SEEDS are refundable. No work done means no cost. If we cannot deliver the agreed task, you will not be charged for it. Work already completed under an approved scope is payable. See our return and refund policy for details and how to request a refund.

Project materials and third-party tools

You keep your rights in materials you supply. Any specific ownership, usage or licence terms for custom deliverables must be agreed in the task quote. Third-party themes, apps, images, fonts and software remain subject to their owners’ terms and licences.

Privacy and Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information to operate the store and checkout. Our privacy policy explains the handling of personal information, including our support chat.

Contact david@thecapeconsulting.com to resolve any service, billing or policy question. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Future updates apply prospectively and do not change an approved task or purchase without agreement.
